-Following some discussions I was inspired to do a code search in a wrapped Tanakh using the expression "Jesus was in the beginning". 2 occurrence were expected statistically, and 4 showed up. The lowest skip was part of the message "love was in the beginning, Jesus as YHVH". Jesus' name shares a letter with the expression "give me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty" in Judged 4:19:
Judges 4:19: "And he said unto her, 'Give Me, I pray thee, a little water to drink; for I am thirsty'. And she opened a bottle of milk, and gave him drink, and covered him."
Which is interesting since Jesus said almost the same things to the woman of Samaria:
John 4:7: "There cometh a woman of Samaria to draw water: Jesus saith unto her, 'Give Me to drink'."
And when He was on the cross:
John 19:28: "After this, Jesus, knowing that all things had been brought to their goal, in order that the Scripture might be fulfilled (see Psalm 69:21), said, 'I am thirsty'."
And the second lowest skip of "Jesus Christ" in the Tanakh also shares a letter with this verse and expression.
Genesis 1:1: "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."
John 1:1: "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made. 4 In Him was life; and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. 8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light. 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world. 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew Him not. 11 He came unto His own, and His own received Him not. 12 But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: 13 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth."
John 8:58: "Jesus said unto them, 'Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am'."
Colossians 1:12 "giving thanks to the Father, Who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in light. 13 He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness, and transferred us to the Kingdom of His beloved Son, 14 in Whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the first-born of all creation. 16 For in Him all things were created, in Heaven and on Earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, whether lordships, whether rulers, whether authorities --all things have been created by Him and for Him. 17 And He is before all things, and all things in Him consist. 18 He is also the head of the body, the assembly; He is the beginning, the first-born from the dead; so that He Himself might come to have first place in everything."
