FAQ #4
Exactly who was/is Jesus?

Just a human philosopher?

Or an angel?

Or someone much, much more than any human or angel?

Before we examine exactly who Jesus is/was first let's make it clear who The Creator is.

Scripture is very clear, YHVH (translated "The LORD" in the King James Version) is The Creator.

Gen 2:4  These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that
the
LORD God made the earth and the heavens
,
Gen 2:5  And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the
LORD God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
Gen 2:6  But there went up a mist from the earth, and watered the whole face of the ground.
Gen 2:7  And
the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath
of life; and man became a living soul.
Gen 2:8  And
the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had
formed.

Psa 148:4  Praise him, ye heavens of heavens, and ye waters that be above the heavens.
Psa 148:5  Let them
praise the name of the LORD: for he commanded, and they were created.

Isa 42:5  Thus saith God the LORD, he that created the heavens, and stretched them out; he that spread
forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; he that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit
to them that walk therein:
Isa 42:6  I the LORD have called thee in righteousness, and will hold thine hand, and will keep thee, and give thee
for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles;
Isa 42:7  To open the blind eyes, to bring out the prisoners from the prison, and them that sit in darkness out of
the prison house.
Isa 42:8
I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to
graven images.

Isa 45:18  For thus saith
the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made
it;
he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none
else.

This word "LORD" (in capital letters) is YHVH in Hebrew:

The LORD / YHVH is The Creator, I can provide many other scriptural witnesses if necessary.

So who was Jesus??

The New Testament is very clear.

We can find the basic Gospel of Jesus Christ in The Gospel of John, in the first chapter:

Joh 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2  The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh 1:4  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Joh 1:5  And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.
Joh 1:6  There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
Joh 1:7  The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.
Joh 1:8  He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.
Joh 1:9  That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.
Joh 1:10
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
Joh 1:11  He came unto his own, and his own received him not.
Joh 1:12  But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that
believe on his name:
Joh 1:13  Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.
Joh 1:14
And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the
only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
Joh 1:15  John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is
preferred before me: for he was before me.
Joh 1:16  And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.
Joh 1:17  For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.
Joh 1:18  No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath
declared him.

The WORD / LOGOS is YHVH = The Creator

He created everything which exists.

All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

The Creator became flesh and dwelt with mankind.

Joh 1:10
He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

Joh 1:14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only
begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

No human has ever seen The Father, His Son YHVH has made Him known.

Joh 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath
declared him.

When Abraham saw YHVH he was not seeing The Father who is in Heaven.

Gen 18:1  And
the LORD appeared unto him in the plains of Mamre: and he sat in the tent door in the heat of the
day;
Gen 18:2  And he lift up his eyes and looked, and, lo, three men stood by him: and when he saw them, he ran to
meet them from the tent door, and bowed himself toward the ground,
Gen 18:3  And said, My Lord, if now I have found favour in thy sight, pass not away, I pray thee, from thy servant:
Gen 18:4  Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:
Gen 18:5  And I will fetch a morsel of bread, and comfort ye your hearts; after that ye shall pass on: for therefore
are ye come to your servant. And they said, So do, as thou hast said.

He was seeing The Son, YHVH The Creator who later became flesh and gave His life for humanity.

When Moses, Nadab, Abihu, + The Seventy Elders saw The God Of Israel / The LORD they were not seeing The
Father who is in Heaven, they were seeing The Son, YHVH The Creator:

Exo 24:9  Then went up Moses, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel:
Exo 24:10  And
they saw the God of Israel: and there was under his feet as it were a paved work of a sapphire
stone, and as it were the body of heaven in his clearness.
Exo 24:11  And upon the nobles of the children of Israel he laid not his hand: also
they saw God, and did eat and
drink.
Exo 24:12  And
the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee
tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them.

No one has ever seen The Father, this was The Only Begotten Son = YHVH The Creator who became flesh and
dwelt with mankind.

Joh 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath
declared him.

YHVH /The WORD / Jesus was the "only begotten of The Father" before He became flesh.

Jesus is not an angel - He created the angels:

Heb 1:1
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,
Heb 1:2
Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom
also he made the worlds;
Heb 1:3  Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by
the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;
Heb 1:4  Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name
than they.
Heb 1:5
For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And
again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?
Heb 1:6  And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God
worship him.
Heb 1:7  And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire.
Heb 1:8  But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the
sceptre of thy kingdom.
Heb 1:9  Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with
the oil of gladness above thy fellows.
Heb 1:10  And,
Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works
of thine hands:
Heb 1:11  They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment;
Heb 1:12  And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy
years shall not fail.
Heb 1:13
But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy
footstool?
Heb 1:14
Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of
salvation?

Everything which exists was created by God's Son = YHVH The Creator = The LORD of The Old Testament and
that includes the angels.

Angels were created to serve (i,e, "minister") humans who are to inherit salvation

Col 1:12  Giving thanks unto
the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints
in light:
Col 1:13
Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear
Son:
Col 1:14  In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Col 1:15
Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
Col 1:16
For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and
invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by
him, and for him:
Col 1:17  And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
Col 1:18  And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead;
that in all things he might have the preeminence.
Col 1:19  For it pleased the Father that in him should all fulness dwell;

Jesus / YHVH / The LORD / The WORD existed before anything was created in "the beginning".

He created everything which exists and He made The Father known to humanity all through The Old Testament.

He became flesh and dwelt with mankind.

He gave His life to redeem humanity from our sins.

His life was worth more than all the rest of humanity put together.

He has now returned to the glory He had before the creation.

Joh 17:1  These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify
thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
Joh 17:2  As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast
given him.
Joh 17:3  And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast
sent.
Joh 17:4  I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
Joh 17:5  And now, O Father,
glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee
before the world was.

The WORD / YHVH existed before anything else existed and He created everything which exists at the direction of
The Father

Eph 3:9  And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which
from the beginning of the world hath
been hid in God,
who created all things by Jesus Christ:

1Co 8:5  For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and
lords many,)
1Co 8:6
But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus
Christ, by whom are all things,
and we by him.

At this point let's examine the word "God".

I have The Strong's Concordance definition of "YHVH" above, but it is often accompanied by the English word
"God".

Gen 2:4  These are the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created,
in the day that
the LORD God
made the earth and the heavens,

In Hebrew this word "God" is "Elohim":

The "-im" on the end of the word makes it plural, just like an 's' in English.

There is one God, but it is composed of more than one being.

Similar to the words 'team' or 'family'.

One team is made of multiple people.

One family is made up of more than one person.

This can be seen in the creation account:

Gen 1:26  And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have
dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over
every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
Gen 1:27  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he
them.

The Godhead is a family presently made of 2 beings

God The Father Who is in Heaven

And His Son YHVH The Creator who has made The Father known to mankind in both Old Testament and New.

But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by
whom are all things
, and we by him.          1 Corinthians 8.6

There is not two LORDS

There is only one "First and Last", Old Testament + New

The Father in Heaven has not dealt with humanity, His Son YHVH has made the will of The Father known.

The only times The Father has dealt with humanity was the few times His voice thundered while His only begotten
son was in the flesh:

Joh 12:27  Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came
I unto this hour.
Joh 12:28  Father, glorify thy name.
Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and
will glorify it again.
Joh 12:29  The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to
him.
Joh 12:30  Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

Mat 17:5  While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and
behold a voice out of the cloud,
which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
Mat 17:6  And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

At this point you might be wondering why, with these plain and clear scriptural witnesses that Jesus The Creator,
that so many people think The LORD YHVH is The Father or that Jesus was an angel.

The answer is very simple.

Those in spiritual darkness are incapable of understanding the plain and simple truth that Jesus is The LORD
YHVH, come in the flesh, and that The Father in Heaven is another being who hasn't dealt with humanity.

Go back to the basic gospel in John 1:

Joh 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Joh 1:2  The same was in the beginning with God.
Joh 1:3  All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Joh 1:4  In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
Joh 1:5  And the light shineth in darkness; and
the darkness comprehended it not.
Joh 1:10  He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.
Joh 1:14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only
begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

It takes being led by The Holy Spirit to understand that Jesus is The LORD YHVH:

Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and
that
no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Spirit.     1 Corinthians 12.3

This verse is much clearer in the Aramaic original because the Greek language does not have a word for "YHVH".
This word translated into the English word "Lord" is just the generic word for "lord" it can mean God or it can just
be the master of a home.
The Peshitta is always clearer than the Greek translations made from it.

Because this inform I you that there is not a man who by The Spirit of God speaks +says damned is Yeshua
neither a man can
say that YHVH is Yeshua except only by The Spirit of Holiness.
1 Corinthians 12.3 Interlinear Peshitta

Jesus is YHVH!!

I pray the scales fall from your eyes.

The LORD YHVH Jesus is returning to take control of the Earth.

He will deal with sin and sinners during the 1000 year of the millennium which culminates in a great fireball which purifies the
Earth before The Father in Heaven descends with the New Jerusalem in Revelation 20 + 21.

The Father does not deal with sin + sinners.

The Son YHVH / The WORD / Jesus does this

Jud 1:14  And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold,
the Lord cometh with ten thousands
of his saints
,
Jud 1:15
To execute judgment upon all, and to convince all that are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they
have ungodly committed, and of all their hard speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken against him.

Isa 66:15
For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury,
and his rebuke with flames of fire.
Isa 66:16  For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
Isa 66:17  They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh,
and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, saith
the LORD.
Isa 66:18  For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come,
and see my glory.
Isa 66:19  And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud,
that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles afar off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they
shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
Isa 66:20  And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto
the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and
in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, saith
the LORD, as the children of Israel bring
an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
Isa 66:21  And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, saith
the LORD.
Isa 66:22  For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the LORD, so shall your
seed and your name remain.
Isa 66:23  And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to
worship before me, saith
the LORD.
Isa 66:24  And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcases of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall
not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.

When The Father comes with The New Jerusalem in Revelation 21 The Son / YHVH / The Creator / Jesus has already purged the
Earth of all sin and death during the 1000 years.

I wrote that The Godhead is presently composed of 2 beings.

God The Father who is in Heaven and His Son YHVH The Creator who became flesh and dwelt with mankind.

In Romans Chapter 1
Paul tells us that all that can be known of The Godhead is shown to us in The Creation:

Rom 1:18  For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth
in unrighteousness;
Rom 1:19
Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
Rom 1:20  For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things
that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Rom 1:21  Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their
imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Rom 1:22  Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,

So just what do we see in the creation account??

We have Adam alone.

This shows us God The Father, alone for an eternity backwards in time - before the beginning.

And out of His ribcage or 'bosom' Eve is taken out of Him.

This shows us The Son proceeding forth from The Father:

Joh 8:42  Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for
I proceeded forth and came from God; neither
came I of myself, but he sent me.

He came from the bosom of The Father:

Joh 1:18
No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared
him.

Adam and Eve were one flesh

The Father and The Son YHVH are of one Spirit or mind.

Adam was to have dominion over Eve just as The Son always does the will of The Father.

All human life goes back to Eve just as Christ / YHVH created all which exists.

The Father and The Son YHVH were together before anything else existed and all things were created by The WORD / YHVH at
the direction of The Father.

And that includes all the angels were were created to facilitate The Fathers plan to eventually enlarge The Godhead with billions of
humans.

YHVH /The WORD / Jesus was the "only begotten of The Father" before He became flesh.

The LORD YHVH is the first and the last to proceed directly from The Father.

Isa 44:6
Thus saith the LORD the King of Israel, and his redeemer the LORD of hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and
beside me there is no God
.

Rev 22:12  And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.
Rev 22:13  I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end,
the first and the last.
Rev 22:14  Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the
gates into the city.
Rev 22:15  For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and
maketh a lie.
Rev 22:16  I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David,
and the bright and morning star.

There isn't 2 "First + Lasts":

Old Testament:

Isa 48:12  Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he;
I am the first, I also am the last.
Isa 48:13  Mine hand also hath laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand hath spanned the heavens: when I call unto
them, they stand up together.

New Testament:

Rev 1:17  And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not;
I am the
first and the last:
Rev 1:18  I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.

There is not 2 Saviors:

Old Testament:

Isa 43:10  Ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and my servant whom I have chosen: that ye may know and believe me, and
understand that I am he: before me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after me.
Isa 43:11  I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour.

New Testament:

2Pe 1:11  For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus
Christ.

There is not 2 Redeemers:

Old Testament:

Isa 41:14  Fear not, thou worm Jacob, and ye men of Israel; I will help thee, saith the LORD, and thy redeemer, the Holy One of
Israel.

New Testament:

Tit 2:13  Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;
Tit 2:14  Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of
good works.

Jesus is YHVH The Creator

He became flesh and dwelt with mankind and gave His life to redeem humanity from our sins.

He is our Savior

The Father in Heaven is another being who has not dealt with humanity - He does not soil Himself with sin + death

He has delegated this responsibility to His Son YHVH

Jesus Christ / YHVH will return and land on the Mount of Olives, same as He ascended:

Act 1:9  And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Act 1:10  And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Act 1:11  Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven?
this same Jesus, which is taken up from
you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.

The same event is shown to us in Zechariah 14:

Zec 14:3
Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
Zec 14:4
And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount
of Olives shall
cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain
shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

This is the return of YHVH / Jesus

The Father does not descend with The New Jerusalem until after The LORD / YHVH ? Jesus has cleansed the Earth of all sin +
death in Revelation 21.

Jesus knew Abraham before He became flesh and dwelt with humanity, and He told the leaders of His day that He was in fact
YHVH, it is why they wanted to kill Him:

Joh 8:53  Art thou greater than our father Abraham, which is dead? and the prophets are dead: whom makest thou thyself?
Joh 8:54  Jesus answered, If I honour myself, my honour is nothing: it is my Father that honoureth me; of whom ye say, that he
is your God:
Joh 8:55  Yet ye have not known him; but I know him: and if I should say, I know him not, I shall be a liar like unto you: but I know
him, and keep his saying.
Joh 8:56  Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad.
Joh 8:57  Then said the Jews unto him, Thou art not yet fifty years old, and hast thou seen Abraham?
Joh 8:58
Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
Joh 8:59  Then took they up stones to cast at him: but Jesus hid himself, and went out of the temple, going through the midst of
them, and so passed by.

"I Am" is a poorly done translation from the original Aramaic of the holy name = YHVH

Jesus told the leaders that if they did not acknowledge He was YHVH they would die in their sins:

Joh 8:23  And he said unto them, Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world.
Joh 8:24  I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins:
for if ye believe not that I am he, ye shall die in your
sins
.

These verses are much clearer in the Aramaic originals, in both instances Jesus plainly told the Jewish leaders that He
was YHVH.

YHVH created the angels and they are to be judged by humans:

1Co 6:2
Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the
smallest matters?
1Co 6:3
Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

Jesus Christ is not going to be judged by any human.

Michael will be.

Jesus Christ is YHVH!!

The Father in Heaven is another being who most people deny the existence of.
