FAQ  #12
How can we recognize the "many" false prophets that Jesus said were coming?
The LORD Jesus told us that there were to be many false prophets, who would come saying that Jesus is the Christ - and
then lead the "many" into deception:

 4.
And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
 5.  For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.  Matthew 24.4+5

And He told us how to recognize most of the false prophets in Matthew chapter 7 - in the 'Sermon on the Mount' -
BY
THEIR FRUIT
.

Jesus said the "fruit" of the false prophets would be "workers of iniquity" = "workers of NO LAW", and the LORD told us that
these many people, who have taken the "easy path", would be totally convinced they had been right with God.
But Jesus
said He does not know them:

13.  Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be
which go in thereat:
14.  Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.
15.  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
16.  Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
17.  Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
18.  A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
19.  Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
20.  Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
21.  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will
of my Father which is in heaven.
22.  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast
out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23.  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
                                                                                                                                Matthew 7.13-23

The word "iniquity" means "NO LAW" - the false prophets teach that God's Law has been done away
with.
Sin is the transgression of God's Law:

Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.    1 John 3.4

The many false prophets teach that it is OK to transgress God's Law, they reject the eternal/perpetual sign
of serving The LORD, His blessed 7th Day Sabbath:

12.  And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,
13.  Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for
it is a sign between
me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify
you.
14.  Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death:
for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
15.  Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord: whosoever doeth any
work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
16.  Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations,
for
a perpetual covenant.
17.  It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the Lord made heaven and
earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
18.  And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of
testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
   Exodus 31.12-18

The "workers of iniquity" refuse to obey the will of The Father, His Law, and instead accept the commands
of the "man of sin" who sits in Rome, the city of seven hills, and commands people to comitt sin, that is,
transgress God's Laws.

Why would The LORD accept those who reject the eternal/perpetual sign of being His?

21.  Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will
of my Father which is in heaven.
22.  Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out
devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
23.  And then will I profess unto them,
I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.    Matthew
7.21-23

They are not His:

And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.     Galatians 3.29

They have not received the Holy Spirit which writes God's Law upon the heart and mind of the believer:

This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord, I will put my laws into their
hearts, and in their minds will I write them;
   Hebrews 10.16

Instead of having God's Law in their thoughts and their actions as pictured out by the "frontlets":

4.  Hear, O Israel: the Lord our God is one Lord:
5.  And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.
6.  And
these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:
7.  And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou
walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.
8.  And
thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between
thine eyes.
   Deuteronomy 6.4-8

The workers of iniquity (NO LAW) have the commands of Rome in their thoughts (the forehead) and in their
actions (the hand), they have accepted the mark of the fourth beast of Daniel 7, which has changed "times and
laws" and has made war against the saints, that is those who obey God rather than the Pope:

Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the
faith of Jesus.
       Revelation 14.12

The Catholics and Protestants do not even claim to be obeying the 10 Commandments (except the Mormons,
who are so unlearned as to think they are) as given to us by the LORD in scripture.

They are not of the saints.
